FOCUS creates the opportunity for screen sector companies in Scotland to access sector specific business advice and support.The project is delivered byFilm City Futuresin partnership withScottish Documentary Institute, and supported byScreen Scotland.A sector review found that screen business were not always able to access the business development expertise that they need in order to achieve significant growth.FOCUS wants to change this, by supporting screen sector companies to gain access to the sector-specific business development expertise that they need from experts in production, law, HR, book scouting, sales and distribution, and other areas.We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering for events, expressing an interest in obtaining information about us or our services or otherwise contacting us.

Wednesday 22nd of June, from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.The Haberdashery545 Sauchiehall StreetGlasgowG3 7PQCome and celebrate 5-years of FOCUS activities, discover how they have contributed to the growth of independent film, TV and animation companies and the impact the programme has had on the screen sector in Scotland and internationally. The evening will include:<ul><li>Drinks reception</li><li>Welcome and introductions from FOCUS</li><li>An introduction from ScreenSkills</li><li>Showreel screening</li><li>Light bites and networking</li></ul>How to find the venue:There are multiple transport links to The Haberdashery. On-street parking is available outside the venue and in the local vicinity. There is also a private carpark located two minutes away. Being situated on Sauchiehall Street, the venue is also easily accessible via public transport; just a five minute walk from Charing Cross Station, St Georges Cross subway and various bus stops.
