NEW PROJECTS LAUNCH - You're Invited!

The council's Business Growth team provides a number of projects to support entrepreneurs as well as new and established businesses. Services range from  business start-up grants and training courses, masterclasses, webinars and workshops covering a range of topics including access to finance,  marketing and getting fit to supply.The team also offers support in finding suitable local workspaces based on your business requirements.

<h1>Is your business ready to </h1><h1>Pivot, Adapt and Recover? </h1><h1></h1>If the answer is yes, then join us on the 24th November at Tobacco Dock to hear how Tower Hamlets Council are supporting their local small and micro businesses with the Mayors Business Recovery ProgrammeFollowing the success of the Pivot Project earlier this year which saw 50 Tower Hamlets based micro &amp; small businesses secure £1000 to help them pivot their business, we are delighted to announce that the project is back along with 2 other grant support projects to help businesses as they continue on a journey of recovery and resilience as we respond to the challenges still affecting businesses post-Covid <ul><li>Pivot Project 2 – Grant up to £1000 </li><li>Cultural Creative Fund – Grant up to £1000 (within creative industries)</li><li>Business Adaptation Grant - Grant up to £1250 (to be match funded)</li></ul>You will hear from Mayor John Biggs and Councillor Motin Uz-Zaman - Deputy Mayor and Cabinet Member for Work, Economic Growth and Faith who will officially launch this programme of support. You will also hear from a local business who has successfully accessed a previous round of council grant support and of course the team responsible for the delivery of these 3 initiatives will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.At this event you will find out:<ul><li>About the 3 grant projects and supplementary support on offer </li><li>How you can access the support</li></ul> and have the opportunity to:<ul><li>Ask your questions directly to the project teams</li><li>Network with other local businesses</li><li>Enjoy a tour with launch sponsors Tobacco Dock - available for anyone who would like to stay and join them after the launch event showcasing their event spaces and co-working areas. </li></ul>

Can't attend in person, no problem! We will also be running this event online where you will hear about the projects and still have an opportunity to pose your questions to the panel. The Council has also developed a suite of support including a <a href="https://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgnl/business/business_support_and_advice/business__enterprise/Pivot-Project.aspx" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Peer to Peer network</a> which we would encourage you to join.
