This exciting resource is a new addition to the national Relationships, Sexual Health and Parenthood (RSHP) resource. In this webinar we will take you through the resource itself and how one special school is already using the materials with their children and parents.

Background to the development of the resource:

The national RSHP resource was developed to help improve the quality, relevance, consistency and coverage of RSHP education in Scotland. Since its development practitioners and parents identified that the resource did not sufficiently cater for learners with complex additional support needs. This new resource has therefore been developed specifically for learners who are 3-18 year olds with Complex ASNs working at a pre-early CfE level and supports learning in both educational settings and at home.

The resource has been designed to articulate with:

• Milestones: Supporting Learners with Complex ASNs: for reporting progress and planning

•Curriculum for Excellence HWB/RSHP experiences and outcomes

During the webinar we will also be highlighting three new units in the main RSHP resource specifically for young people over 14 years who have additional support needs (Learners aged 14+/16+ with additional support needs - RSHP)
