New World Classics: Can you guess the grape?

For this tasting we thought we'd explore some new world wines. Each of the wines we try have their roots in 'Old World' Europe where wines are generally known for a more traditional style. The new world offers new and exiting adaptations to these classic wines as they express their unique terroir and winemaking practices.

To make things a little interesting we are going to pour these wines blind (not literally), so it will be up to you to have a stab in the dark as to what grape and region it might be from before we tell you a little about the wine and some pairing options!
