New Year Photo Walk - Blackpool Promenade

Begin the new year with creativity and community.

Join us for a New Year Photo Walk along Blackpool Promenade, an opportunity for photographers of all experience levels to gather, explore, and capture the unique character of our iconic coastal setting.

We will explore the promenade with our cameras, observing its architecture, shoreline views, and atmosphere while exchanging photographic ideas and techniques. Whether you’re using, a film camera, a DSLR or a smartphone, all are welcome to take part.

We will meet at Aunty Social for 11am before setting off through the town to the seafront, returning to the town centre by 1pm. As ever there will be the opportunity for a brew and a chat at the end.

We have three ticket types available,

· £3 – Bring your own camera & equipment
· £7.50 – Bring your own camera, film provided

· £7.50 – Borrow a film camera (film included)

GETTING HERE

Tram & Train to Blackpool North Station

Bus: No 6 or 18 to Topping St., No 3, 3a, 5c, 6, 18 to Church St (Stanley Buildings), No 5, 5a, 5b, 6, 7a, 14 to Talbot Rd

Driving: The closest pay and display car parks are on East Topping St and Talbot Road multi storey. There is also parking at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket, please make sure that you check the terms before you use the car park.
