Join a Ranger on a gentle stroll among the many veteran trees to discover the delights of Ashtead Common.

Starting from the Ashtead Common Estate Office, we'll head out onto the Common for a gentle two-hour ramble. Guided by the Ranger, we'll be stopping at a couple of points of interest to explore the history, wildlife, and conservation efforts of this ancient landscape.

Event information

  • Please wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear (We advise wearing boots).
  • Please bring snacks and a drink if needed.
  • The walk will be gentle but over uneven and rough terrain at times.
  • Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Ashtead Common is a National Nature Reserve managed by the City of London Corporation as part of The Commons, comprising 4 separate, registered charities, and relies on the public for income and donations to protect 800 hectares of outstanding environments attracting 2.5 million visits annually.

We cannot refund tickets for this event. If you can no longer attend, we can offer you a place on other walks, talks, and events.
