- Live online session.

This NEW Empowering Early Years CPD ONLINE workshop aims to offer a comprehensive, research backed understanding and overview of the related issues associated with anxiety in early years. Linked to identifying stressors, stress behaviours and specifically looking at the modulating role of the secure attachment, as well as potential pinch points such as transitions to support children to regulate, thrive and learn.
Concepts are all research backed*, from understanding behaviours relating to poor /de-railed attachments, negative stress responses, the impact of ACES and chronic stress for young children, in terms of their behaviour, learning and how to further empower positive LT outcomes for children, as part of a trauma informed and inclusive approach to relational practices, meeting the unique needs of each child.
The reflective pack & training notes offer opportunity for reflection and discussion of implications for reflexive practice within own setting, to enable and impact positively upon better mental health, positive behaviour and thriving outcomes for all children.
(*Course references will be given - for extra reading and useful support and the opportunity for feedback)

Feedback on past training:
Great to have the information in straight-forward language'
‘The course was fab and the hand-out EXCELLENT as I will now be able to go over this while I am on my apprenticeship.’
'Extremely knowledgeable and interesting.'
'Great for simple ideas.'
'How current gaps in our provision for the above mean that we may not have either recognised the importance of these or expected too much higher functioning too soon and so we need to plan for this in a different time of expectations level.'
'We were presented with current up to date research into best and desirable practice with underlying child development information which put everything into context.'
'Very cost effective for single delegates in that the very low charge will have a high impact on provision and more so once cascade training is disseminated. I have been on 2 courses and would definitely attend further sessions.'
'Promotes new ideas and gets you thinking about your own setting.'
'I've come away with knowledge I can implement straight into practice as well as my studies.'
'It exceeded expectation as it was very informative and there were really useful handouts which suggested further reading and research.'
'I would recommend it as colleagues do not always appreciate the importance of play to learning.'
'Very enthusiastic and lots of really useful information!'
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
