During this interactive workshop, you'll have the unique opportunity to transform your CV into a compelling narrative of your skills and experiences. The session will kick off with a brief introduction to the fundamentals of CV writing, covering what potential employers are looking for and how to effectively highlight your achievements.
Following the introduction, we'll dive into a hands-on CV review exercise. You are encouraged to bring a printed copy of your current CV, which will serve as a foundation for personalised feedback. Experienced professionals will be on hand to guide you through the revision process, offering tips on how to structure your CV, choose impactful language, and tailor your CV to specific job roles or industries.
The workshop will also feature a special segment on avoiding common pitfalls in CV writing and how to make your CV stand out in a competitive job market. This session is designed not only to refine your CV but also to boost your confidence in presenting yourself to future employers.
To wrap up, there will be a question and answer session where you can seek advice on specific challenges you face with your CV.
