Upcoming NHS Scotland Chair Drop-in Session
Are you interested in stepping into a leadership role that shapes the future of health and care in Scotland?
Join Professor John Connaghan, Chair of NHS Lothian and Chair of Chairs, and Pat Kilpatrick, Chair of NHS Fife, for an informal drop-in session on 12th November 2025 at 5pm – 6.30pm.
This online session is designed to support and encourage people considering applying for forthcoming NHS Chair positions that will be advertised in 2025 and 2026. It offers a unique opportunity to:
· Hear directly from current Chairs about their experiences, why they applied, what they enjoy most, and the impact the role has.
· Explore why the Chair role is so important and rewarding.
· Gain insight into the recruitment process, what good looks like and how to prepare.
· Learn about the most pressing issues facing Chairs today, and the peer support available through colleagues and the Chairs groups.
