We believe in the brilliance of many, not the few and in this digital age it's never been easier to use digital technology to tackle some of the world's toughest social and environmental challenges. Tech can empower workers, transform healthcare, support disenfranchised people, and so much more.

In Northern Ireland since 2015, Techies in Residence has brought together hackers, coders, developers and designers with people who really understand social problems to build digital solutions to social challenges. This event will showcase some of the great projects making an impact across NI and beyond and it will provide collaboration and partnering opportunities to support the further scaling up of these projects.

Techies in Residence is a programme of the Community Foundation, managed by Innovate-NI and funded by Comic Relief.

Who should attend?

Anyone interested in Tech for Good, whether that be the Tech community (designers, developers, business leaders, educationalists, VC’s) the Impact Community (Charities; Community, voluntary and social enterprises; philanthropists; impact investors, development experts) or anyone with an social issue or idea that could be supported with tech.
