Why do Wiser Women meet

Our aim is for a wee community of women who care about women's experience. We thrive when we're with like-minded souls, and the chances to do that - just for ourselves - are too few, so we created this group for ourselves.

Is there a charge?

We aim for low or no charge events. Our Knowledge Gigs may charge a small fee to make it more likely you'll turn up after booking a space. This is then donated to the speaker's chosen chairty. We aim to alternate speakers with just socials, alternate months on the 2nd Friday of each month.

How accessible is the venue

Accepted Answer

Very. All on the ground floor with disabled parking nearby.  Bathroom is spacious and on the same level. Plenty of space round the tables for wheelchairs. Softer seats available. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks are offered, as are tasty light meals and sweet treats. Warmth and good cheer come as stan
