An epic evening is in store as we welcome the ultra fellrunning phenomenon that is Nicky to tell us tales from the fells and beyond.

W﻿e are pleased to announce the visit of Nicky Spinks to Aberdeen in October. Nicky is an ultra-running phenomenon in the fells having completed all the classic challenges in the UK - the Bob Graham, Paddy Buckley and Ramsay Round - all as double rounds and she is the current overall double Bob Graham record holder. She continues to compete at the highest level in fell racing and has also taken part in the famously eccentric and very challenging Barkley marathon event in the U.S. She continues to work as a farmer in Yorkshire and has overcome serious illness and injuries during her long career.W﻿e would like to invite you to join us for what should be an unforgettable evening with Nicky as she tells us about some of her fantastic achievements.The evening will be based around Nicky&#x27;s talk along with a question and answer session. It will take place at the main lecture theatre at the McRoberts Building, University of Aberdeen, doors open at 7pm, for a 7.30 start. A﻿ll profits from the event will be going to Nicky&#x27;s chosen charity, Odyssey.
