Dreams, nightmares, lovers’ serenades and other music for when the sun sets…Philomel Creative Circle invites you to “Night Visions”, our midsummer GALA concert where we will be exploring the mysterious and alluring world of after dark. For one evening only, five international classical music stars join forces to present a multifaceted programme that will be featuring music for flute, soprano, solo piano and piano four hands. Programme to include:Schubert Gretchen am Spinnrade for voice and pianoScriabin Valse Op 38 for piano soloBoulanger Nocturne for flute and<a href="https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/philomelmusicacademy2023" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a> pianoDutilleux Sonatina for flute and pianoGaubert Nocturne and Allegro Scherzando for flute and pianoSay Night for piano four handsShoot Summer solstice for piano soloSchumann Fantasiestücke Op 12 Des Abendes and In der Nacht for piano soloProgramme suitable for children. Concert starts at 7pm. Doors open at 6.30. Refreshments available before and after the show. Proceeds in aid of Philomel Music Academy and Philomel Creative Circle.
