AtFolk, our events are about bringing people together. Events are a great way for our residents to meet each other and try something new. This might be achieving a goal like getting fit or playing a team sport, but it could also be experimenting with something you’ve never even heard of like Kintsugi. Expect the unexpected!If you have ideas for events – or even want to start your own one-off or series of events – give us a shout. Previous residents have organised weekly chess tournaments, run clubs and freelancer networking. We’ve got some money each month to support your big plans, so speak to our Community Manager for more info.

You know that thing where someone says “networking event” and suddenly you’re picturing forced small talk and someone handing you a business card before they’ve even learned your name? Yeah. This isn’t that. No Pressure Networking is a relaxed evening for people who want to make genuine connections — whether you’re building something, switching lanes, freelancing, or just curious about what the people around you are actually up to. We’re keeping it small, keeping it fun, and letting the conversation do the work. On the night: - Speed networking rounds — 5 minutes, one person, one real conversation. Repeat. - Human Bingo — your icebreaker for the night. Find the people, tick the squares, win the prize. - Soft and alcoholic drinks all evening. - A DJ set to close the night out properly. No pitch.
