Empowering training organised in response to popular demand.

Climate Action Hub Exeter

Learn alongside others about the history of Civil Resistance, theories of Non-Violence, Non -Violent Direct Action skills such as passive resistance techniques, how to talk to the police and the public, and how to use your support systems. Experience the power of support as you practice these skills during the afternoon. Find out where you will feel most comfortable playing your part – all roles are vital.
No prior knowledge is needed, just a fierce love of our planet and a sincere desire to protect all life.
Whether you're new to XR , interested in the movement or a seasoned rebel wanting a refresher before an action, this will be an afternoon well spent.
This training will not cover in detail your legal rights, what it's like to be arrested, or likely outcomes. There will be plenty of opportunity to learn more both online and in person.
