Headway Arts is a professional arts organisation and registered charity established in 1995 and based in Blyth. We specialise in participatory arts with disadvantaged groups including learning disabled people of all ages.

Headway Arts

A national symposium bringing together artists and arts organisations for discussion, critical conversation and debate. 
 
Themes for the day:
What does quality mean for learning disabled artists? 
How can the status of artists who are learning disabled be raised? 
What can we do together to strengthen this sector?
