About this event

  • 8 hours 30 minutes

We are officially launching the North to South London Trail on the first May Bank Holiday by walking the WHOLE THING in two days. Normally, this walk divides into five easy sections but we like a challenge! We will be starting the walk from Cockfosters Tube at 9am on Saturday with some ribbon cutting and walking all the way to the centre of London at Trafalgar Square.

Day 2 of the trail Charing Cross to Carshalton is separate bookable event.

Welcome to the Walking Post! Our website offers walking route ideas around London and the South East with maps and written directions. We also run open guided group walks in Surrey, Kent, London and further afield. We love being able to take the train out of London and into the countryside. There are so many beautiful places less than an hour by train away from the city and so many footpaths to discover. Most routes start and finish at train stations but you can also head out in the car or even in some cases, walk out of the city!
