Deaf Action is a deaf-led charity that supports and celebrates deaf people. We were established in 1835 and work with deaf people across Scotland and the South of England. Our work is geared towards empowering all deaf people to achieve their potential and fully participate in society, with equality of rights, access and opportunity.

Embark on a journey melting movement improvisation, music, creative writing and BSL in an all-day workshop. Everyone welcome.

A dance theatre workshop exploring movement improvisation, creative writing, music and BSL.&nbsp;Have you ever wondered if forests carry a message which needs to be shared? “Not Far from the Forest” is the place to ask these questions and listen to the voice of the Forest.&nbsp; The Forest team will share some of the methods and tasks developed to make their dance-theatre show “Listen to the Forest” during a hands-on workshop including a combination of movement improvisation, creative writing, music and BSL.&nbsp; After the workshop, you will be able to participate in a public sharing and showcase the result of the work made during the workshop in an informal setting. Everyone is welcome.&nbsp;
