NIROMP is delighted to offer up to 50 free invites to this key event for IROs - providing an opportunity to network, to engage with key messages from research and to critically reflect on dominant discourses influencing IRO practice. We also have a limited number of tickets for purchase by practicising social workers / managers.

Professor Brigid Featherstone & Professor Kate Morris :

Dr Jadwiga Leigh: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/socstudies/staff/staff-profiles/leigh will present her latest thought provoking work on Blame, Culture and Child Protection.

Jo will take us a journey through the 'The Emotional Politics of Social Work and Child Protection'.

Emphasis will be given to the Independent Reviewing Officer role in informing best practice.

This is a free event exclusively for IROs subscribed to NIROMP (www.niromp.org). Admittance will be refused to any individual not meeting this criterion.
