Note taking accommodations with Sonocent Audio Notetaker

Participants will get hands-on with Audio Notetaker and its companion mobile apps. You will come away with a sound knowledge of Audio Notetaker and how it can help overcome challenges with note taking and study. Discover how the software enables students of all abilities who may face challenges with note taking to:
 Take comprehensive and more effective notes with independence
Develop a range of other core study skills
Overcome struggles with reading and writing
Participants will also discover how the accessibility features of the software:
Engage students with multimodal information captured live in a lecture/tutorial, from previously recorded lectures or flipped content
Provide a platform for greater independence in processing and comprehending multimodal information
Support the construction of review notes and assignments in a range of modalities
 
Maximum spaces available: 20 per session
Sessions available:
Session 1 (9:30am – 11:30am) - Advanced Technologies Centre (ATC624)
Session 2 (12.30pm - 2.15pm)  - Engineering Building  (EN405)
Session 3 (2.30pm - 4.30pm) - Engineering Building  (EN405)
 
Please could participants participants bring a fully charged laptop and mobile device with Audio Notetaker and Sonocent Recorder installed, with their software already activated.
 
Unfortuantely, only one ticket can be purchased per registrant.
