NUMEN is Guia Bertorello's first physical exhibition at the Underground Flower Offspace in Earl’s Court, London.

NUMEN; a Latin word indicating the ‘spirit or divine power presiding over a thing or a place’: the show explores moments of fleeting emotion and spirit enabled by a communal experience of beauty, adornment as a personal ritual, a quiet contemplation of numinous objects and contemporary artefacts.Curated by Underground Flower and in partnership with Harlesden High Street, NUMEN is multidisciplinary artist Guia Bertorello’s first solo show, investigating their practice through incarnations in wearables, moving image, sound and sculpture. A portion of the space will be dedicated to a visualisation of process and research, as well as presenting work from Guia’s graduate project and a short film in collaboration with image maker Matthew Esselen and DOP Ben Leggett. ---Location: Underground Flower Offspace | 2nd Floor, 1 Clear Channel House, Cluny Mews, London SW5 9EG.Open Thursday to Sunday from 17th July 2021 - 8th August 2021.Regular exhibition hours from 14.00pm - 17.00pm. Extended hours on opening and closing nights from 14.00pm - 21.00pm.---Accessibility Notice: The nearest transit links are the Earl’s Court and West Kensington tube stations, and the C1, 74, 328 and C3 bus lines.The exhibition space is located on the 2nd floor so please bear in mind that you will have to go up 2 flights of stairs.---We ask that all visitors please wear a face mask when inside the space and use the hand sanitiser provided.
