<h3>Mathematicians are not only interested in answering questions, they also often pose questions. They might ask, "Will this always happen?"; "Will this method always work?"; "Is this just a special case?"...</h3> <h3>In this webinar, Charlie and Liz will consider how we can offer opportunities which will encourage learners to use specific examples as a springboard to generalising.</h3> During the eventThis event will be hosted on Zoom and a link will be shared with all those who register.During the events, we will share some of our thinking and invite you to have a go at some maths activities. It would therefore be useful for you to have pencil and paper available. There will be opportunities to share your thoughts with the NRICH team using the Zoom chat facility.How to get involvedThis event is free, but pre-booking is essential.
