Who can attend?

Accepted Answer

We invite people of all ages, big and small. We suggest under 1's don't attend (but if they do they are Free of Charge and no ticket is required). If you are pregnant or trying for a baby we suggest you do not join the lambing experience this year. All children must be accompanied by a paying adult.

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

We suggest outdoor, waterproof clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, this is a real life farm and it can be muddy. Wellies are the best choice for your feet to keep you dry and warm while walking on muddy terrain. We will have latex disposable gloves on offer.

Question 3

How long does it last?

Accepted Answer

The tour/experience will last for approximately 60 minutes, please only arrive a maximum of 15 minutes prior to your session. You will be met by one of our team. This is still a working farm so at no time will you be allowed to wonder around the farm unattended.

Question 4

Do I need a ticket if it is only my child taking part?

Accepted Answer

This experience is educational and hands on for people of all ages. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult as everybody benefits and gains from the experience, therefore everybody who enters the farm and wishes to meet the sheep must be booked in prior to your arrival.

Will there be a toilet/hand washing facilities?

Accepted Answer

Yes we have a toilet on the farm and we will have hand washing facilities. We encourage regular hand washing as we reinforce high levels of hygiene on the farm.

How to find Oakfield Farm?

Accepted Answer

We are a fairly new farm but can be found on Google maps, or by using What Three Words; ///lifestyle,straw,reset
We are on the South Side of the A90, take the flyover for Errol/Horn Milkbar and follow signs for Middlebank Golf Centre, we sit at the bottom of the driving range.
