Welcome to the London People Analytics Meetup! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this is your chance to connect with one another and talk all things PA.
This session will be a mix of networking and expert talks. We aim to present on a topic, with some of our members sharing their experience and expertise. The topic is TBC but will be picked from the suggestions made by our members, so could be something along the lines of AI in PA, data visualisation and storytelling, people analytics tools and techniques (Excel, Python, R, SQL), workforce planning and talent analytics, employee experience and engagement metrics, diversity, ethical considerations in PA, HR tech, DEI analytics, benchmarking and salary reviews, building a strong analytics team, developing your career.
The networking piece will be informal - just join people and chat. We'll set aside 15-20 minutes for the talk section.
You'll get to meet some new people, catch up with some old friends, and hopefully learn a thing or two too.
We hope to be providing some drinks and light nibbles on the evening.
We're charging a small ticket fee just in case we need to cover some venue costs, and to encourage people to attend and therefore ensure our tickets numbers are accurate. However, if it's not needed, we'll use this to provide some drinks or nibbles on the day.
The venue is TBC until we have rough numbers. We're aiming to have this finalised by the end of September, but it will be somewhere around central London so within a few tube stops of Waterloo. If your organisation would be willing to host us, then please reach out!If you haven't joined us already, or would like to learn more, we have a LinkedIn group where we share information, ideas and event updates - https://www.linkedin.com/groups/13109513/.
Supplier tickets - we really appreciate the suppliers who get involved in our community. In order to ensure that our community focuses on our practitioners, we only offer a limited number of tickets for suppliers. This will be about 1/10th of booked tickets, so more tickets will become available as practitioners purchase their tickets. There is a small fee attached to these tickets to help us fund community iniatitives. These tickets apply to people working in external roles like sales, product, and recruitment. This does not apply to people analytics / HR consultants, nor to anyone else actively practising people analytics on a daily basis, regardless of their job titles. If you are unsure whether this ticket applies to you, please reach out to Lara Holding-Jones on LinkedIn.
