October In-Person People Analytics Meetup (London)

We've all seen them - ugly dashboards! I'm sure none of us are guilty of such sins, but we've definitely seen a few baddies in our time 🤮

So we're having an ugly dashboard contest.

It's set to be a brilliant evening! Here's what you can expect:

• Meet a lovely bunch of fellow people analytics practitioners
• A fun, audience judged ugly dashboard competition
• Enter an ugly dashboard and potentially win a prize
• Facilitated discussion by Steve Hall at One Model - what makes an effective dashboard? What role do dashboards play in an AI enabled future?
• Free drinks (sponsored by the lovely One Model team)

Do you have an ugly dashboard or visualisation to submit? Real, mocked up based on nightmares, or modelled on a horror dashboard you saw in the flesh, we want to see them all! Send them through to Steve directly by replying to your booking email, or asking Lara Holding-Jones (via LinkedIn) for Steve's email address. Submit before 5pm on Monday 6th October.

We're really lucky to have the One Model team sponsoring our event. They're making sure we have a lovely venue and plenty of drinks to keep everyone hydrated. We owe them a huge thank you!

If you haven't heard of us before, welcome to the UK People Analytics Meetup community! Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this is your chance to connect with one another and talk all things PA.

The networking piece will be informal - just join people and chat. We'll set aside 15-30 minutes for the structured talks section.

You'll get to meet some new people, catch up with some old friends, and hopefully learn a thing or two too.

We're charging a small ticket fee to encourage people to attend and therefore ensure our tickets numbers are accurate.

Supplier tickets - we really appreciate the suppliers who get involved in our community. In order to ensure that our community focuses on our practitioners, we only offer a limited number of tickets for suppliers. This will be about 1/10th of booked tickets, so more tickets will become available as practitioners purchase their tickets. There is a small fee attached to these tickets to help us fund community iniatitives. These tickets apply to people working in external roles like sales, product, and recruitment. This does not apply to people analytics / HR consultants, nor to anyone else actively practising people analytics on a daily basis, regardless of their job titles.
