We’re entering a new era. It’s been 26 years since the World Wide Web was invented, and there are now more devices in the world than people. With this changing landscape, we’re having to get smarter and more innovative in how we connect with each other, our communities and our cities around the world.
Hurry! Only 200 early bird tickets for the ODI Summit available, and all early birds receive VIP tickets to watch Tim Berners-Lee's introductory speech. Standard ticket holders will watch a live feed in a theatre next door.
If data infrastructure is as important to our infrastructure as roads, then the Open Data Institute is helping to lay the concrete. Join us on 1 November to hear inspiring stories from around the world on how people are innovating with the web of data, with presentations from a diverse range of people – from startups to high profile speakers such as Sir Tim Berners-Lee (creator of the World Wide Web), Sir Nigel Shadbolt (AI expert) and Martha Lane Fox (Lastminute.com founder).
We’ll be joined by governments, charities, banks, supermarkets and many more individuals who are empowered by the web of data to become more open, more efficient and better connected.
We have three events around the ODI Summit to celebrate the web of data, these are:
A Pre-Summit Training Day hosted at Arup's head office on 31 October, featuring a full day of open data workshops.
ODI Summit 2016 An exciting day of talks, stories and demos from key influencers in open data on 1 November at the BFI.
ODI Awards 2016 An evening of awards on 1 November for those using open data to make a difference.
