Sesiwn Agored Arloesedd Ofcom - CAERDYDD

Rheoleiddiwr telegyfathrebu prif ffrwd, symudol, band-eang, teledu, radio a gwasanaethau-ar-alw y Deyrnas Gyfunol yw Ofcom . Eu cyfrifoldeb nhw yw sicrhau bod pobl y DG yn cael y dewis orau o wasanaethau cyfathrebu a bod y farchnad yn darparu dewis, dibynadwyedd a gwasanaethau arloesol i ddefnyddwyr.

Maent yn awyddus i ryddhau mwy o ddata agored er mwyn gweld pa arloesedd a mewnwelediad gall hynny ysgogi.

Mae Ofcom eisoes yn cynhyrchu ystod hynod arbennig o ddata – cryfder signal symudol a band llydan, data technegol telegyfathrebu, ymwybyddiaeth gyfryngol a llawer mwy – sydd yn faes parod i’w ddadansoddi a datblygu. Dymunant gyflawni llawer mwy. Gallwch chi helpu llywio rhyddhau setiau o ddata agored y dyfodol, neu ddefnyddio data agored i greu gwasanaeth i gwsmeriaid, neu ddylunio ap i hysbysu defnyddwyr am eu telegyfathrebu fel bod ganddynt ddewis go iawn o wasanaethau.

Ymunwch gyda ni ar Nos Fawrth 13eg Chwefror 2018 yn Indycube Lôn Trade St, 6.30yh-8.30yh ar gyfer y sesiwn agored olaf ynglŷn ag arloesi gyda data Ofcom,

Bydd hi’n sesiwn anffurfiol ble bydd syniadau a chwestiynau pawb yn cael eu parchu a’u nodi ar ddogfen Google y gallwn ni gyfeirio ati eto yn y dyfodol. Rydym yn gweithredu mewn modd hollol agored, felly bydd yna groeso i bobl nad sydd yn gallu mynychu ychwanegu eu mewnbwn nhw hefyd. Beth bynnag eich diddordeb yng nghyfathrebu’r cyfryngau, mae’n sicr bod gennych farn a mewnbwn gwerthfawr i gynnig felly buasem ni wrth ein bodd yn eich gweld chi yn un o ddigwyddiadau Ofcom.

Ofcom Innovation Open Session - CARDIFF

Ofcom is the UK's communications regulator, covering landline and mobile telecoms, broadband, TV, radio, and on-demand services. Their remit is ensuring that people in the UK get the best from their communications services and that markets work to deliver choice, reliability, and innovative services for consumers.

They are keen to release more data openly and see what new insight and innovation will come from that data.

Ofcom are already producing a brilliant array of open data - broadband and mobile coverage, technical telecoms data, media literacy, and much more - that is ripe for analysis and development. There is more they would like to do. You can help guide the future release of open datasets or use open data to create a service for consumers or design an app that helps inform consumers so they can make better decisions regarding their telecoms services.

Join us on Tuesday 13 February 2018 at Indycube Trade Street, 6:30pm- 8:30pm for the final open session all about innovating with Ofcom data. The session will be relaxed and everyone's opinions and questions are valued. Everything will be documented on a shareable Google Doc that we can reference in the future. We do everything in the open so people who can't attend can still add their input as well.
