Off The Page: Scratch
Join us to celebrate a performance of our student's scripts in development
Doors at 5:30pm
Start time 6pm
As part of 'The Gathering' Performance Forum, The Seamus Heaney Centre presents the second 'Scratch Night.'
Scratch is a night of 'works in progress' that have gone through The Seamus Heaney Centre's new development program: Off The Page. Students over the last couple of months have been attending workshops, working with actors and directors, and thinking dramaturgical about their scripts and overall stories. Scratch celebrates their progress through the program.
Working with producer and writer, Darcey Youngman and dramaturg, Emily DeDakis, the writers have had chance to experiment, to think differently about writing, and most importantly, developed how to work collaboratively.
Writers: Fillipa Jense, Elaine Gormley, Alyson Hunter, Peader O'Brien and Siobhan Murphy.
Actors: Beth Beatie, Holly Hannaway, Nathan Martin and Kyle Austin.
Come see the words ‘off the page,’ and celebrate the theatrical and cinematic talents our students have to offer!
