The Story of OFFGRIDWe’re Fran &amp; Alice, two Bristol pals who got bored of dating apps so have started to run some real life events to get our kind of people together under one roof, having fun and making genuine connections.We’re bringing that OG vibe back to dating, where people meet through friends or hobbies. We see our type at sports clubs, walking the dog and at the pub, but it’s often hard to work out who’s single or up for striking up conversation - we’re here to solve that!Yes, these are dating events, but it’s also somewhere you can make new friends, find a padel partner or a surfing buddy.Starting at the end of last year, we held our biggest event yet in February with over 100 singles joining us. And so, we are keeping it interesting and running a mixture of events, some active and some more social.This time, we've organised an evening of wine and cheese tasting, hosted by Native Vine. There will be four cheeses with paired wine to taste, guided by the guys at Native Vine who will tell you all about how they are made and where they come from. You'll move round the room, with plenty of time to meet and chat with everyone. This is actually one of our favourite date activities, and gives you the chance to pick up some wine knowledge to impress a date in the future.
