PR1 Gallery is located in the University of Central Lancashire's Victoria Building,Adelphi Street, Preston, Lancashire PR1 7HD.The gallery is set across two levels - ground floor and mezzanine.  Programming is managed by the University's award-winning Faculty of Culture and the Creative Industries and predominently  showcases exhibitions by our undergraduate and post graduate students, staff, and alumni.  We also successfully welcome many touring shows.Entry to the gallery is free and all are welcome to view the exhibitions and engage with any special events we run such as previews, artists's talks and guided tours.  The gallery is open weekdays during office hours and only occasional weekends.Don't miss out on any of our events, join our mailing list here: https://bit.ly/2IfZnkaTo book the PR1 Gallery for your exhibition, follow this link: https://bit.ly/2KCBFN4For enquiries please contact the gallery coordinator, Matt Texon: 01772 893388 MTexon3@uclan.ac.uk

PR1 Gallery

A real-time assortment and assessment of a personal collection spanning 25 years. The exhibition will include items from UCLan's School of Art, Design and Fashion archive from old degree show invites to polytechnic branded ashtrays. 
Ephemera is taken from the Greek word ephēmeros ‘lasting only a day’ and now refers to items that are only enjoyed for a short period of time or collectable items that were originally expected to have only short-term usefulness or popularity.
To attend this exhibition you can just turn up on the day.  However, if you wish to register we will add you to our mailing list and notify you of forthcoming exhibitions and performances in PR1 Gallery.
