OFFSCRIPT is a youth led creative takeover in Huddersfield - and Saturday is the big celebration.

Designed and produced by young people, OFFSCRIPT brings together music, fashion, making, performance and youth power in one vibrant space. It’s a place to hang out with your mates, try something new, discover opportunities and celebrate youth creativity.

Across the event you can expect:

• Live music from young bands and artists
• Performance sharing shaped by youth voice and real stories
• DIY fashion & making spaces using recycled and found materials
• Creative writing, spoken word & expression corners
• Campaign & ideas space exploring issues young people care about
• Signposting organisations offering support and future opportunities
• Chill & quiet spaces to relax, recharge and connect
  

OFFSCRIPT is welcoming, free to attend, and open to young people aged 14+. No experience needed - just come as you are.

These activities are designed to be accessible, optional and pressure-free, with multiple ways to take part.

• clear zones for performance, making, reflection and rest
• quiet / low-stim spaces
• support from youth-focused organisations
• a friendly, welcoming atmosphere shaped by young people

The Saturday takeover is the celebration moment of OFFSCRIPT: Youth Power Week, a week of creative activity for young people in Huddersfield.

Across the week you can also take part in:

• Filmmaking Workshops (ages 14–18)

• Metal Workshops
  Wed 18 & Thu 19 Feb | 11am–12:30pm & 1:30pm sessions
• JamFactory Music School – Future Producer Workshops (ages 13–18)
  Wed 18 & Fri 20 Feb | 11am–2pm
• This Stage Is Ours with Chol Theatre
  Mon 16 - Friday 20 | 1pm - 4pm
