OFFSCRIPT is a youth led creative takeover in Huddersfield - and Saturday is the big celebration.

Designed and produced by young people, OFFSCRIPT brings together music, fashion, making, performance and youth power in one vibrant space. It’s a place to hang out with your mates, try something new, discover opportunities and celebrate youth creativity.Across the event you can expect:<ul><li>Live music from young bands and artists</li><li>Performance sharing shaped by youth voice and real stories</li><li>DIY fashion &amp; making spaces using recycled and found materials</li><li>Creative writing, spoken word &amp; expression corners</li><li>Campaign &amp; ideas space exploring issues young people care about</li><li>Signposting organisations offering support and future opportunities</li><li>Chill &amp; quiet spaces to relax, recharge and connect </li></ul>OFFSCRIPT is welcoming, free to attend, and open to young people aged 14+. No experience needed - just come as you are.These activities are designed to be accessible, optional and pressure-free, with multiple ways to take part.A Space Designed for EveryoneThe event will include:<ul><li>clear zones for performance, making, reflection and rest</li><li>quiet / low-stim spaces</li><li>support from youth-focused organisations</li><li>a friendly, welcoming atmosphere shaped by young people </li></ul>Part of OFFSCRIPT: Youth Power WeekThe Saturday takeover is the celebration moment of OFFSCRIPT: Youth Power Week, a week of creative activity for young people in Huddersfield.Across the week you can also take part in:<ul><li>Filmmaking Workshops (ages 14–18) Mon 16 &amp; Tue 17 Feb | 11am–3:30pm</li><li>Metal Workshops Wed 18 &amp; Thu 19 Feb | 11am–12:30pm &amp; 1:30pm sessions</li><li>JamFactory Music School – Future Producer Workshops (ages 13–18) Wed 18 &amp; Fri 20 Feb | 11am–2pm</li><li>This Stage Is Ours with Chol Theatre Mon 16 - Friday 20 | 1pm - 4pm </li></ul>More details and booking links for the week can be found on Eventbrite.We hope to see you there!
