Ofgem is holding an information event in advance of commencing OFTO Tender Round 6 (TR6). Building on the success of previous rounds, TR6 will tender the following three transmission assets:

Beatrice wind farm (approximately 588MW), located 13km off of the Caithness coast;
Hornsea 1 wind farm (approximately 1,218MW), located approximately 120km from the Yorkshire/Lincolnshire coast; and
East Anglia ONE wind farm (approximately 714MW) located approximately 43km from the East Anglia/Suffolk coast.

Together, we expect the OFTO assets in TR6 to be worth in excess of £2 billion.

Tender documents are currently expected to be available in the last week of October 2018.

We will also provide interested parties with an update of our OFTO tender process policy consultation for future tender rounds (8th March 2018) .

Please note that Ofgem may accept late registrations to the event but we cannot guarantee that space will be available on the day unless we send you a confirmation.
