There is a special kind of person in our world who finds herself/himself alone and isolated, almost since birth.

Her/his solitary existence isn’t from a preference or an antisocial temperament – she/he is simply old. Old in heart, old in mind, and old in soul, this person is an old soul who finds her/his outlook on life vastly different and more ripened than those around her/him.

As a result, the old soul lives her/his life internally, walking her/his own solitary path while the rest around her/his flock to follow another.

Being an old soul has nothing to do with your current age.

Quite simply, an Old Soul is a person who feels much older than their age reflects. This feeling is often accompanied by the gift of empathy, high intelligence, intuition, and keen insight into the human condition.

Old Souls are often outsiders looking in, they feel as though they don’t “belong” in this world, or this period of time. As a result, most Old Souls long for a sense of true meaning, purpose and inner fulfillment that money, power, and success can’t achieve. This longing is often described as the thirst to “return back home.”

There are two major types of Old Souls: those that are born with the sensation of being “different,” and those who “grow into” becoming Old Souls through the process of spiritual awakening.

WHO IS THIS MIXER SUITABLE FOR? [HOW DO I KNOW I AM AN OLD SOUL/EMPATH?]
Perhaps one of the most telling signs of an old soul is the feeling of not quite fitting in. You might find it hard to relate to the interests and concerns of those around you, often feeling like an observer rather than a participant. This isn't about feeling superior or looking down on others.

Old souls come into this life with an agenda to experience and complete karma, while new souls "want to make form out of light," and "experience what it's like to be a being in a body." As such, the new souls' experience is a bit more lighthearted, where being an old soul can feel heavy. But in addition to that, because the old soul comes to this life with more experience and understanding, they're able to handle obstacles and challenges with greater clarity.

My name is Lou and it gives me great pleasure to offer events that connects people in meaningful and fun ways, while at the same time offering a more bespoke service that does not break the bank! I pride myself in making sure during my events that everyone feel welcome and included as I know how daunting it can be to meet new people!Here are a few things you need to know before RSVPing...

◼️All Connected Exclusive Events in person events are listed without a venue : just a general area is mentioned. Once RSVPs close a day before the event after 6.30pm all paid attendees will get a message from me through Eventbrite with my contact number and exact meet up details, and any pertinent last minute information in order to be able to attend. Please ensure you contact me should you not receive the message, no later than at the end of the night before the event. I do not give refunds for no shows if an attendee claims they did not get meet up location notification, or contacts me on the day of the event. Please ensure your email address is correct and up to date when you RSVP to ensure you are contactable. I am contactable on my mobile phone (this will be sent on the email message I will send all attendees the evening before the event) around the time of the event, so if you cannot find the venue or the group, please feel free to get in touch by phone.(This is for phone calls only. I do not reply to text messages)

◼️The event fee to RSVP minimally covers the cost, time and fees necessary to put these events together and is set to encourage attendees to turn up to the event. My events are listed well ahead of time and RSVPs are open until a day before the event.Reminders are sent out as well. Please do not RSVP unless you know you can attend. This allows me, the host, a chance to curate a better event for all and it creates a better experience for those that do show up on the day.

◼️No refunds given under any circumstance, except if event is cancelled (see details below): The listed fee per person to RSVP to this event is non-refundable.On occasion there might be a need to reschedule events as I don't have a team in the background running my online or in person events, it is run by only one person, myself. So there might be times when an event will need to be postponed or as a last option,cancelled. If in the rare instance that the RSVP count is too low to run the event(in other words not enough interest )or for any other unforeseen circumstances that can come up, which will make rescheduling an event a necessity, a credit of fee paid will be used to attend the rescheduled event for another event(in person or online event) of the same ticketed price.No refunds/credits given for late arrivals, no shows, if you change your mind, if you can no longer attend, you don't like how the event was run, or you cannot attend the new rescheduled event because you are not available on the new date(in case event has been rescheduled) and you do not feel there are any other optional events you want to attend instead etc...... If there is an exceptional concern(not mentioned here)where a refund is requested, I will address it on a case by case basis. In these circumstances, if a refund is granted it will be minus Eventbrite fees and this will usually be processed within 30 days of the refund request. Please be aware of this before RSVPing.

◼️The listed event fee is not redeemable against any drinks/food or extras. Drinks and extras like food etc..are paid for by each person directly to the venue. There is no minimum spend at venues, unless this is specified. All my events are run as walk-in events at the venues.I am in no way affiliated or representing the venues. Therefore if attendees have any questions on the day please contact me directly on my mobile phone and not the venue.

◼️This event is not being offered as therapy/counselling and so does not constitute as a diagnosis or replacement for medical or psychological treatment. It is being run for self-help, motivation, information/educational and discussion purposes only. You will need to be able to assume responsibility for your own emotional wellbeing as it's not always possible to consider individual triggers in a group setting. ◼️This event is being run as a social mixer. It is an invitation for people (men and women) to come together and share an activity. On the day of the event, I , the organiser, have no control over who shows up. Every event is different and unique. Some are well attended, some are not.I do not offer refunds to attendees who are unhappy about the event not having an equal mix of men and women, or not being happy about how many people showed up(whether that is too many people or too few people)or how or where the event is run.

◼️As the organiser, I will take all possible precautions to ensure that this event is run as safely as possible for all attendees.
