Is this event dog friendly?

Please book the basic ticket if you are planning on bringing your dog. Dogs are not allowed in the Gothic Hall, where lunch is held.

The trail typically takes around 30-45 minutes, this can depend on the age of the children.

The trail is all outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. In the case of extreme weather, we will notify you of any changes or cancellations.

We cater for all allergies and dietary restrictions. However, we need to be aware of this beforehand.

Where shall I park?

Please park in the main carpark DE72 3EN. This is a 15-20 minute walk to the castle so please allow plenty of time before your dedicated time slot. If you are a blue badge holder please send us a private message on Facebook or Instagram for directions (Wyatts Elvaston Castle)

Is the trail accessible?

We try to ensure all our trails are pushchair and wheelchair friendly, but please bare in mind the park grounds are often sludgy this time of year.

Where does the trail begin?

Please head to the castle to start the trail. The event organiser will be situated on a stall just past the main toilets. No part of this event is held in the cafe.

What should I do if I need to cancel my booking?

Full refunds are only issued if cancelled at least 48 hours before the event.

Do I need to pay for non-participating infants?

No -  but please add them on to your booking in 'add-ons' so we are aware.

Can we be seated at the same table as another party?

If you would like to be seated at the same table as another party, please book together as one group. This will be more cost-effective. If you are booking separately, please contact us to check if it's possible to add you to their table.

Why has the price increased compared to previous trails?

Accepted Answer

The price has increased to reflect the shift to Eventbrite for bookings. This change was necessary due to the overwhelming response to our events, which made manual bookings challenging to handle. This ensures a smoother process but comes with a fee.
