Croydon Voluntary Actionpromotes, supports and develops effective voluntary action, community development and community involvement for the benefit of the whole community within the London Borough of Croydon.  As the key local umbrella infrastructure body serving all Croydon’s communities, we run a wide range of services for small groups, social enterprises, larger charities and volunteers at all stages of development.Check on our website what we offer; whether it's community networks, volunteering, latest news/news articles, or hiring space in one of our local community centres, we hope we will be able to help you deliver excellent services to our community.

Croydon Voluntary Action

One-to-one surgery with a CVA Capacity Building Officer to review your draft fundraising application to a funding agency i.e. the Big Lottery Fund (" Award For All programmes ") or Community Development Foundation’s (Community First funding).
Please complete the application form the best you can beforehand make the most of the time (max 50mins application).
This offer is part of our holistic fundraising support programme covering the major stages of grant applications, which will take you through an insightful and interactive journey of the key elements that form a successful funding bid. Our training programme is series of master classes and bite size workshops including evidencing the need for your project, creating project budgets, meeting the funders and much, much more. It is an opt in or opt out programme where you can either attend all or some of the elements that you are interested in.  We are extremely limited for places so secure your seat before it is too late.
 
TERMS & CONDITIONS
i) Cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the training course (14 days for Safeguarding training) will be refunded 90% of the original cost of the booking. The remaining 10% will be kept by Croydon Voluntary Action as an administration fee. 
ii) Cancellations made within 7 days of the training course (14 days for Safeguarding training) will not be refunded.
iii) If a training course is cancelled by Croydon Voluntary Action, for any reason, a 100% refund will be given to all trainees.
iv) Any offers or deals on Croydon Voluntary Action training courses are subject to change or expiration. In some cases, notice of this will be given but not in all cases. Any changes or updates to terms or conditions will not affect the terms and conditions under which you made your purchase.
v) Any changes made to these terms and conditions may be made without prior notice and at the discretion of Croydon Voluntary Action.
