Dissertation writing workshop for undergraduate and postgraduate students who need help with the planning and execution of a dissertation

This is an intensive, two-day online dissertation writing webinar organised by academic writing platform <a href="https://www.essaycourses.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Essay Courses</a>, and it takes students through the different stages of planning and executing their dissertation. The interactive online webinar combines several succinct talks, followed by brief reading practice tasks, and a question and answers session after each of the main sessions. The workshop is divided into several practice units, which follow the structure of a classic dissertation.Structure of the webinar: <ul><li>Introductory unit: choosing your dissertation topic, writing your proposal, and the purpose of the dissertation</li><li>Unit 1: The Introduction chapter : here we discuss the aim and objectives of a dissertation, rationale, scope, and structure</li><li>Unit 2: The Literature Review chapter : this unit covers the basic literature review techniques, structure, steps and methods for appraising and synthesising your evidence</li><li>Unit 3: The Methodology chapter : this unit discusses the most common elements of primary data collection, quantitative and qualitative research methods, research paradigms, data analysis for quantitative and qualitative research, sample and sampling methods, and ethics </li><li>Unit 4: Findings and Discussion chapter : this unit discusses data analysis and representation of results for quantitative and qualitative research, as well as discussion/interpretation</li><li>Unit 5: Conclusion and recommendations chapter: here we discuss the representation of findings in a succinct manner, recommendations, implications, and other elements which can possibly go in this chapter, such as limitations, and topics for further research</li></ul>Each unit will be followed by Questions and Answers session.We cannot offer recordings or replays of the sessions, but participants will be provided with a copy of the slides and any other supplementary materials. Students who are still in the proposal/approval stage will benefit also.
