Belle is a Nutrition Consultant and Lecturer in Naturopathic Medicine. With over a decade of experience in working on health optimisation on a 1-1 and in groups, hosting cleanses in Gozo, recipe creation and running Longevity themed pop up restaurants, Belle is passionate about the health and wellness industry and aims to create events which are both educating, interactive and highly engaging. Belle holds a BSc in Nutritional Medicine and has a background in education therefore aims to blend the two to bring you innovative and empowering content.

Times – 7.30-9.00 pmTickets - £20 includes booking fee.Includes –· 90 minute zoom call to discuss fasting, the benefits (includes weight loss, fat burning, brain fog, improved energy levels, longevity) and how to do an effective fast. Time for questions at the end.· Totally optional extra - join a supported 4 day fast from Friday 19 – 22. Or use this guidance to do your own fast when it suits your timescale. So, this works out at just £5 per day PLUS the workshop! January special. Treat yourself.· Recipes and guidance on how to do this safely. We will be following a 4-day supported fast – under 800 calories per day with a clear 16 hour fasting window. Optional day of juice and soup only.· Join our Cleanse Community Facebook group in which I will be posting advice DAILY over the cleanse period.· The talk will be recorded so if you cannot attend you will get sent a recording within 48 hours. We will cover: · History of fasting· What is a fast and different types of fasting in order to find the right fast for you· Research on physiology including improvements in weight loss, brain fog, insulin resistance, longevity etc (see below)· How to do your own fast safely· The benefit of joining a Fasting Facebook Group for a 4 day long weekend guided fast 19-22 January· Recipes and guidance on how to optimise your fasting weekend. The concept of fasting has been part of our history. It spans 100’s of 1000’s of years. The Ancient Greeks believed so strongly in fasting for physical health that athletes would fast as part of their pre - Olympic training.There is an abundance of modern-day research out there to suggest that the benefits of fasting encompass longevity and living well into your later years. Take the studies of Valter Longo, a bio gerontologist and cell biologist known for his studies on the benefits of fasting as an example.Longo’s studies indicate that a Fasting Mimicking diet (a modified fast) extends life span, revitalises the immune system and lowers the incidence of cancer. Also, there were improvements in delaying cognitive decline.At this online event, we will be discussing the different types of fasts, how to conduct a fast safely, when not to fast (it’s not safe for everyone) and if you are tempted to combine health with a holiday I’ll be talking through the health retreat @amcharahealth ( locations both in the U.K. and Gozo - Malta ) in which it is very easy to fast as all temptations and stressors of modern life are removed. I will be taking a group over to Amchara Gozo in October 2024.I am very keen to give practical fasting tools, so we will talk through how to go about a low calorie but still delicious and nutritious fast for 4 days. I will be creating a FASTING FACEBOOK group for participants. To ease the process, we have the option of using Medium Chain Triglycerides for extra energy. I will give you a code to buy Ancient and Barve MCT oil. Perfect if you are combining a fast with exercise.Why join?
