<h2>ONLINE COURSE OPEN TO IRISH PUBLIC SECTOR BODIES ONLY.</h2><h2>Data Analytics &amp; Visualisation Introduction</h2><h3>Cost:  €80</h3><h3>Duration: 2 days, 2 hours per day, 1000-1200</h3><h3>Date: 27th &amp; 28th January 2021</h3><h3>Link to join: Shared with attendees before the event</h3><p>This training will provide an understanding of how to perform simple data analytics and visualisations — enabling you to discover practical insights for your organisation and engaging your community. </p><ul><li><strong>Data analytics and visualisation - </strong>what is data analytics and visualisation and how to do it. </li><li><strong>Analytics and visualisation practical tasks  - </strong>introduction to creating graphs and map-based visualisations.</li><li><strong>The theory and techniques of data visualisations - </strong>summary and recommendations for your organisation.</li><li><strong>Understanding user engagement - </strong>introduction and considering your user needs</li><li><strong>Data Science</strong> - introduction and examples.</li><li><strong>Product overview - </strong>introduction to different products available on the market.</li><li><strong>Lessons learned - </strong>summary of the key lessons and take home tasks.</li><li><strong>Questions - </strong>managed Q&A session.</li></ul><p>Courses are for all Public Service employees and groups of employees (for full organisation eligibility, please see below). </p><p>Please contact us at <a href="http://training@urbantide.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">training@urbantide.com</a> if you have any questions or would like to create a tailored training programme for your organisation.</p><p>Training provided under Ireland’s Open Data Initiative and as set out in <a href="https://data.gov.ie/pages/open-data-strategy-2017-2022" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ireland’s Open Data Strategy 2017-2022</a>.</p><h3>Eligibility:</h3><p>The following public service bodies are eligible to access this training Framework:</p><ul><li>Ministers of the Government of Ireland, Central Government Departments, Offices and non-commercial Agencies and Organisations which have a formal reporting and legal relationship to Central Government Departments, including all local authorities in Ireland (themselves including regional assemblies, local enterprise boards and library bodies)</li><li>Contracting authorities in the Irish health sector including but not limited to the Health Service Executive (HSE); the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and HSE funded Agencies delivering health &amp; personal social services funded by more than 50% from Exchequer funds</li><li>Contracting authorities which are Third Level Educational Institutions (including universities, institutes of technology and members of the Education Procurement Service)  </li><li>Contracting authorities which are Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and ETB schools, and primary, post-primary, special and secondary schools as well as ETBs acting on behalf of schools</li><li>An Garda Síochána</li><li>The Irish Prison Service</li><li>The Defence Forces</li></ul><p></p>
