<h2>ONLINE COURSE OPEN TO IRISH PUBLIC SECTOR BODIES ONLY.</h2><h2>Introduction to Data Anonymisation &amp; Linked Data</h2><h3>Cost:  €80</h3><h3>Duration: 2 days, 2 hours per day, 1000-1200</h3><h3>Date: 16th &amp; 17th December 2020</h3><h3>Link to join: Shared with attendees before the event</h3><p>This training is for those who would like to gain more practical knowledge about anonymising and publishing open data safely, as well as an introduction to Linked Data the 5* standard for open data.</p><h3><strong>Data Anonymisation</strong></h3><p><strong>Data Anonymisation</strong> enables data to be published without breaching data protection principles through de-personalisation and aggregation. The course will cover:</p><ul><li><strong>Principles and techniques of anonymisation</strong></li><li><strong>How open data works with GDPR</strong></li><li><strong>Sample exercises</strong></li><li><strong>Questions - </strong>Managed Q&amp;A session</li></ul><h3><strong>Linked Data</strong></h3><p><strong>Linked Data</strong> is structured data which is interlinked with other data, so it becomes more useful. This introduction course provides recommended best practice for exposing, sharing and connecting pieces of data.</p><ul><li><strong>Learn one way to make Linked Open Data</strong></li><li><strong>Understand how the data communicates</strong></li><li><strong>Evaluate the cost and benefits of Linked Open Data</strong></li><li><strong>Questions -</strong> Managed Q&amp;A session</li></ul><p></p><p>Courses are for all Public Service employees and groups of employees (for full organisation eligibility, please see below). </p><p>Please contact us at <a href="http://training@urbantide.com" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">training@urbantide.com</a> if you have any questions or would like to create a tailored training programme for your organisation.</p><p>Training provided under Ireland’s Open Data Initiative and as set out in <a href="https://data.gov.ie/pages/open-data-strategy-2017-2022" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ireland’s Open Data Strategy 2017-2022</a>.</p><h3>Eligibility:</h3><p>The following public service bodies are eligible to access this training Framework:</p><ul><li>Ministers of the Government of Ireland, Central Government Departments, Offices and non-commercial Agencies and Organisations which have a formal reporting and legal relationship to Central Government Departments, including all local authorities in Ireland (themselves including regional assemblies, local enterprise boards and library bodies)</li><li>Contracting authorities in the Irish health sector including but not limited to the Health Service Executive (HSE); the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) and HSE funded Agencies delivering health &amp; personal social services funded by more than 50% from Exchequer funds</li><li>Contracting authorities which are Third Level Educational Institutions (including universities, institutes of technology and members of the Education Procurement Service)  </li><li>Contracting authorities which are Education and Training Boards (ETBs) and ETB schools, and primary, post-primary, special and secondary schools as well as ETBs acting on behalf of schools</li><li>An Garda Síochána</li><li>The Irish Prison Service</li><li>The Defence Forces</li></ul><p></p>
