Summary: Don’t be frightened of data – it can be your friend. If you want to understand how you can use data in an exciting way, bringing it to life and improving your own influencing skills, then this is the session for you.
Aim: Using organisational people performance indicators and broader workforce data to analyse situations, inform actions and enable continuous improvement.
Objectives: To understand how to read and analyse their own organisation’s workforce reports.
Understand the importance of story-telling in bringing data to life.
To understand the importance of, and be able to use, evidence-based practice.
Prework: Delegates should access and review their monthly workforce intelligence reports, bringing the latest report to the session to discuss in group work.
Facilitator: Linda Gent, Senior Coach Practitioner and Director of Ashfold Consulting.
As a CIPD Fellow Linda has considerable senior HR & OD leadership experience in a number of unionised, public and private sector organisations. Experienced in retailing, policing, the NHS and education sectors, and recently teaching on the CIPD qualifications programme. Linda uses her Executive coaching qualification in both formal and informal settings. With the ability to work both strategically and tactically, Linda has headed up operational HR and Learning and Development teams across the NHS, leading change and making impactful improvements. She loves using data to inform actions.
