About this event

  • Event lasts 45 minutes

ONS Local has been established by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to support evidence-based decision-making at the local level. We aim to host insightful events that connect our users with exciting developments happening in subnational statistics and analysis at the ONS and across other organisations. GeoPlace is a limited liability partnership owned equally by the Local Government Association (LGA) and Ordnance Survey. They are responsible for collating, managing and maintaining the primary UK authoritative geospatial address and street data and are recognised world-wide as an established expert in managing address data and its associated infrastructure.

This introductory webinar is designed for technical teams who manage, use or might want to use, or integrate address data. GeoPlace will explain the benefits of using definitive address data and its Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN), demonstrating how a ‘UPRN first’ approach enhances communication, promotes joined-up service delivery across your organisation, facilitates data-linking and the delivery of more efficient, effective services.

This event is open to all; we anticipate it will be of most interest to anyone working with address data at the local level in the UK.

If you have any questions, please contact ons.local@ons.gov.uk.

All information submitted via Eventbrite will be held in line with the Office for National Statistics privacy policy.
