About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

ONS Local has been established by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) to support evidence-based decision-making at the local level. We aim to host insightful events that connect our users with exciting developments happening in subnational statistics and analysis at the ONS and across other organisations.

Join James Hunt from Havering Borough Council to learn about their innovative new approach to predicting the need for emergency temporary housing and advertising relevant services to residents in need. James is an expert on scraping open-source data and combining datasets. In this workshop he will provide a practical ‘how to’ guide to make the most out of your homelessness and other open-source data.
