Open Data Publishing Masterclass

Join us, the <A HREF="http://devon.theodi.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Open Data Institute Node for Devon</A>, for a free open data publishing masterclass. Designed for those working with open data in public, private or civic sectors, this workshop will help participants to address their particular needs in publishing open data and provide a new toolkit for use in their organisations.
On the day we'll cover the following topics:
Quality
Discover better tools (for cleaning data, describing it or simply better integration of the various steps of the publishing process) to improve the quality of your open data, enabling more effective discovery and reuse.
Speed
Learn how improved tools and methodologies can make it quicker to publish open data.
Cost and Automation
Explore how automating the process of publishing open data can increase speed and quality while also reducing cost.
 
Attendees will work through a series of guided exercise using service design principles to identify opportunities for improving and streamlining their data publication and data quality.
