Open-Earth Sauna, Gisburn Forest.
Our Open-Earth Sauna at Gisburn Forest is the PERFECT start to 2026. This session offers a unique and immersive experience that combines the benefits of sauna therapy with the serenity of the ancient forest.
You can buy tickets cheaper by ordering from us directly at MYSATI.CO.
What to expect:
- Natural Setting: Nestled underneath a huge tree-canopy within Gisburn Forest, the sauna provides a serene environment to relax and let go, surrounded by ancient woodlands and wildlife.
- Eco-consciousness: Powered with sustainable logs from Bowland Bioenergy Ltd, and in association with Forestry England, this leave-no-trace wellbeing event is a planet-conscious way to experience the therapeutic benefits of the sauna and enjoy some downtime in the forest.
- Make Yourself at Home: We take inclusivity seriously, and our wonderful community reflects those values. Check in or out of the sauna at any time and enjoy a Yogi Tea by the fire pit, or take a moment for yourself or with friends in the cosy woodland yurt, with light refreshments available. In the yurt, you will also find an array of Tibetan bowls to be used at your leisure for some open-ended mindful time. Once your sauna session is finished, you are welcome to stay and relax by the fire, kick back in the yurt, and enjoy the forest.
- Social Space: True to Scandinavian sauna tradition, the sauna is a space for relaxation, detoxing, and socialising. It can accommodate both groups and individuals for a safe, inclusive communal experience.
Regular sauna use can improve cardiovascular health, promote relaxation, and aid in muscle recovery. Conscious time spent in the forest is also proven to regulate the nervous system, improve HRV, and many more benefits. Further information about forest exposure and forest therapy will soon be available on our 'Offerings' page.
