A number of short presentations about our achievements, our services - and how they've changed due to the pandemic - and our future plans

We’re delighted to be opening our virtual doors to all for our Open Hospice events, organised as part of our celebrations of the annual week-long Hospice Care Week. Our Open Hospice events, taking place on the 6th and 7th October, give everyone in our local community the chance to find out more about the challenges of delivering hospice care over the last six months; our services - including those newly developed to meet local need during the pandemic; and our plans for the future. Hospice Care Week is providing us with an opportunity to celebrate some of our achievements; amongst the backdrop the pandemic we've not be able to celebrate our 30th birthday in the way that we planned, nor have we been able to share the news of our improved Care Quality Commission rating, from Good to Outstanding, as widely as we would have liked to. The events, which will be delivered via online meeting platform Zoom, will include short presentations about our recent work, our achievements and our ambitions. Attendees will be able to find out about the services which will benefit them and their communities, clients or patients. We will also be explaining how you can get involved more closely with St Clare and sharing our plans for the future.
