Join Freedom4girls for an open mic night fundraiser to celebrate International Women's Day!!

Lambert's Yard

Freedom4Girls is a UK-registered charity fighting against period poverty. We actively support women and girls in both the UK and worldwide, who struggle to access safe sanitary protection by offering not just disposables, but environmentally-friendly, washable re-usables and menstrual cups. We supply across West Yorkshire, other areas of the U.K. and in Kenya and Uganda. For International Women’s Day, we want to celebrate in our birth town of Leeds by hosting a fun filled show of amazing women.... we have poets, singers and comedians and we’ll be promoting local organisations who support women and equality. We will share with you the many ups and downs of being a women in 2019 and break down stigmas and taboos around menstruation.Full list of acts will be announced shortly, but be prepared for local and international award winning performers. If you are interested in holding a stall or providing support in the way of funding or raffle prizes, please don't hestitate to get in touch.
