The Royal Institution (Ri) is an independent charity dedicated to creating opportunities for the public and scientists to explore science together. Anyone canbecome a member of the Ri. Chemist Alice Williamson is an active member of the open science movement and believes science is better and more efficient when ideas and data are shared. Find out more about the push to make science more open and her efforts to involve students, citizens and scientists in finding a cure for malaria.

The doors will open at approximately 6.30pm, with a prompt start at 7.00pm. There will be time for questions after the talk. Latecomers will be admitted to the gallery.
