Defra Data Function and Ordnance Survey

The <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/department-for-environment-food-rural-affairs" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs</A> (Defra) is making 8000 of its data sets freely available as open data, which is data that anyone can <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://theodi.org/what-is-open-data" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">access, use and share</A>.
This event is an <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unconference" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">unconference</A>, showcase and networking opportunity for data users and custodians.
There will be talks from <A TITLE="Clare Moriarty" TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://www.gov.uk/government/people/clare-moriarty" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Clare Moriarty</A> (Defra’s permanent secretary) and <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://www.gov.uk/government/people/elizabeth-truss" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Elizabeth Truss</A> (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).
