<h1>As a soprano and nature lover, I have for a long time planned  to combine these two loves in an evening of  beautiful music inspired by the natural world... and in particular, butterflies! </h1><h2>So I&#x27;ve  put together a programme that I&#x27;ve called &#x27;Operation Butterfly&#x27;, and I&#x27;m so excited for the premiere of this concert in Ludlow on 21st October 2023! </h2><h3>I&#x27;ll be performing a range of songs from the worlds of opera, classical and folk -  including of course Puccini&#x27;s superlative aria from Madame Butterfly, &quot;Un bel dì&quot;! I&#x27;ll also be performing some of my own songs. The marvellous David Gaukroger, who accompanies me in the video, will accompany me for the concert.</h3><h3>My aim is to raise help some funds to  support the important work of Butterfly Conservation (https://butterfly-conservation.org) and so half of all ticket sales will be donated. There will also be a short presentation from a representative of the Midlands branch of Butterfly Conservation about their important work in the region.</h3>
